Here's a little background on us: Steve has over 18 years of experience in home maintenance, improvement and inspection related fields. He began in maintenance for senior apartment communities, worked in home improvement retail and performed evaluations and estimates for exterior remodeling companies. Steve took it to the next level by moving into real estate investing. He served in the areas of wholesaling and managing rehabs. During that time, he took part in around 200 real estate deals. Steve also has 3 years experience working for Gary Housing Authority as HQS inspector for their section 8 housing. His love for creating scope of work documents, evaluating the quality of repairs and making sure that jobs were completed correctly led him to seek training to become a home inspector. He trained with INTE Rnachi, the nation’s leading home inspection organization. In 2018, Steve became a licensed and certified home inspector in the state of Indiana and started Cornerstone Home Inspections. Since that time he has been servicing Northern Indiana by providing thorough home inspections for retail home buyers, home sellers, and real estate investors. Steve’s goal while performing inspections is to bring value to his clients and he is passionate about educating them so that they are able to make fully-informed purchasing decisions.
