What is the advantage of a My Property Tech subscription over making home repairs as needed?

With over 50 years of combined experienced in the residential construction/warranty industry, experience has proven to us prevention is many times more cost effective than repairs. Preventive maintenance reduces the risk of catastrophic failure, causing major damage to your home and possible harm to a loved one and will help extend the life of your systems and appliances. We truly believe a My Property Tech subscription will in the long run, lower the total cost of home ownership. Our plans are designed to prevent the need for repairs which in turn lowers the overall cost of homeownership for our customers.

If you find a need for a major repair, does My Property Tech perform the repair work?

My Property Tech technicians can make small repairs during their scheduled maintenance visits. When you subscribe to our maintenance services, you will be given the option to pre-approve repairs that do not exceed a specific amount. Should repair costs exceed that amount or you choose to forgo our pre-approval method, our technician will document your repair needs and have our repair department provide you with a cost to do the repair. Our goal is to take your home maintenance and repair worries away from you, providing the scheduling for and management of these services.

My home is newly built, why would I need your service?

Owning a new home is even more of a reason to subscribe to our home maintenance service. My Property Tech subscription plans will keep your home systems running smoothly and efficiently and prevent costly home repairs. By performing proper maintenance now, you will preserve your home's value and avoid any unpleasant home inspection surprises down the road should you decide to sell your home in the future. Making a comprehensive home maintenance record available to buyers will help bring them peace of mind about making a sound investment in choosing your home.

Does anyone need to be home during the service call?

No, it is not necessary for anyone to be at home during a quarterly or monthly service call. Your contract will specify whether we have permission to go in your home and the method of access. My Property Tech will contact you 48 hours prior to our scheduled appointment to confirm we are coming on schedule.
