This is a central Texas house that is 11 months old (built in 2021). The builder did their own "Inspection". This has been causing unseen water damage for the entire time. The buyer was so glad for us to have found this and many other significant issues. Because they found this during the warranty phase, the builder will have to cover all the repairs and damages. Always get a third party inspection done. The rate at which homes are being built, quality skilled labor is almost impossible to find. A brand new home does not mean there will be no issues - its the exact opposite. I see so many new homes with bad problems. Call me if you are building a new build or if your are buying a existing home. I am a state licensed professional, insured, with years of experience inspecting in central Texas.
