A customer call with an issue of her slab separating near the top of a sloped driveway. This is an area that is notorious for shifting soil that has caused problems with foundations and driveways. We lifted two slabs with polylevel and then installed Compression Guard. Compression guard relieves pressure from "Street Creep" and gives the slab ability to contract and expand with the shifting soil. You will see the 3" strip in the photos. This will prevent future damage to the upper side of the driveway and foundation. We also sealed the top portion of the slabs, preventing more moisture from getting under the surface.
