How long does air duct cleaning take?

Generally air duct cleaning will take between 3-4 hours to complete on a residential one unit/ one zone home. Units located in attics or crawl spaces, as well as homes with additional zones or units, will take a longer amount of time for completion. Even the smallest of air duct systems will take our company over two hours, to properly setup and breakdown our cleaning systems and perform the duct cleaning.

Will my living space get dusty during the cleaning?

Our technicians strive to make a mess and trouble free experience for our clients. Air ducts are placed under negative pressure with our power vacuum system, to ensure no dust escapes during the cleaning. In the event that debris makes it outside the vent, our team will detail all work areas after completion to ensure no mess is left behind.

Can I clean the air ducts myself?

Effective professional air duct cleaning invloves professional equipment and proper tactics and training to complete. We do not recommend a home owner clean their own air ducts. Improper cleaning will produce unsatisfactory results and can make the indoor air quality worse than just leaving the ducts alone. Home owners can however brush and vacuum the duct covers effectively. Air filter changes can also be completed easily.

How often should my furnace/air handler be cleaned?

The air handlers' blower motor, evaporator coil, and housings should be cleaned between 1-2 years to maintain maximum effeciency, airflow output, energy savings, and improve indoor air quality.

How much does air handler cleaning cost?

The components we clean on an air handler or furnace unit are the blower wheel, evaporator coil, and housings. The cleanings run $125 for a blower fan and $150 for an evaporator with an air duct cleaning.
