Tree Climbing Training We spent some time training some new recruits how to safely climb to the top of these Red Pine. We want to be sure to take climbing training very seriously. We know it's a dangerous job and we want to prepare and equip men to do the job safely. Our training involves classroom instruction with proper harnessing, correct knots, and proper technique. Later, we require the trainees to apply their classroom training and practice what they learned in the tree. As they learned, it's one thing to tie a knot on the ground in the classroom. It's an entirely different thing to tie the same knot suspended forty feet in the air and trust your life with it. They both did a great job. Well done guys!
