If you’ve traveled through Mills 50 recently, you might have noticed a new building welcoming you to the commercial district. Upshot Medical Center at Mills Park is a 75,000 SF medical office building that’s tucked between local restaurants and other small businesses, and will soon be home to multiple new clinics. nnSince the project is nearing completion, we decided to take a quick field trip to tour the building. Over 45 HuntonBradians met on-site where they were then led through the facility by the project team. The group discussed the design process, materials, and overall vision while they walked the different spaces. They even got a sneak-peek of Charter Research’s new office, which spans across the second and third floors. The tour concluded on the fifth-floor balcony for a group photo before everyone headed back to the office. nnProject tours provide us with an opportunity to celebrate our teammates on their new projects, and everyone is able to learn something new along the way. We can’t wait to see this project when it’s fully completed!nnUpshot Capital Advisors, LLC | Leopardo Construction | BBM Structural | RGD Consulting Engineers | Klima Weeks Civil Engineering | Bonnett Design Group, llc | Metromont Corporation | Exp Global Inc.
