Sun-Filled Addition - Our Princeton architects spent time with the homeowners to understand their needs and wishes for additional space, how and where to locate the extra space and how to organize it for function and aesthetics. The existing cramped primary bedroom had a small powder-room sized bath and tiny closets. They sought a significant upgrade to the bath and closet space, as well as a sunny room downstairs to open onto the beautiful garden they had lovingly cultivated over many years. Our designers went to work, crafting a two-story addition with his/hers customized dressings rooms, and a large upgraded primary bath. We raised the ceiling by two feet throughout the suite to create room for larger windows and a more spacious feeling. Each dressing room/closet contains custom shelving and storage areas. The bath with heated flooring, has a free-standing tub and large glass-enclosed shower with towel warmer for a spa-like bathing experience.
