Listed for homeowners in and around Dublin, CA, these 24 businesses clean carpet. Most work from a van, so the question worth asking is which method they run and how long the rooms will be wet afterwards. Methods and hours come from each website.

Area overview: Dublin, CA

The 24 companies on this page are rated from 4.0 to 5.0 across 1,614 reviews; 8 have 50 or more reviews and 19 are rated 4.5 or higher. When customers rate these companies on specific qualities, they most often praise professionalism (89%), quality (88%) and punctuality (81%). The topics that come up most in reviews of the companies on this page are "price", "efficient" and "estimates". 5 are open around the clock; 17 are open on Saturdays and 9 on Sundays. The services the companies on this page list most often on their websites are carpet cleaning (6), upholstery cleaning (4), area rug cleaning (2), commercial cleaning (2) and hardwood floor cleaning (2). 4 show a license on their websites; 2 list staff certifications (IICRC) and 5 have a BBB rating of A or A+. 17 have ten or more years of experience, the longest 55 years. 5 offer emergency call-outs; 1 offers financing or payment plans; 10 give free estimates; 5 are family- or locally-owned and 6 list coupons or special offers. We count these figures across the companies on this page; distances are straight-line, and hours and prices change, so confirm the details with the company before you book.

What should I check on a company website first?

A website is on file for 22 of the 24 listings on this page. Look for the method named in plain words, whether upholstery and area rugs are handled, and what the company says about dry time. A site that names none of that is selling a truck, not a process.

FAQs

Do you match competitor prices?

Many carpet cleaning companies have a bad reputation for bait-and-switch tactics, where they offer a low price to book an appointment and then add extra fees for various services once they are at your home. These additional costs can include pre-treating stains, waste water handling, travel, fuel, and more, resulting in a bill that is much higher than the original advertised amount. Low prices often indicate that the carpet cleaner uses cheap equipment that may not effectively clean your carpet, lacks insurance, and employs uncertified technicians. At Do it Green, we believe in transparent, up-front pricing. Our technicians will always inform you of the necessary work and its cost before starting the job. We use only the best and latest equipment and tools in the industry. If you are seeking a quality service, please give us a call!

How long will it take my carpet to dry after it is cleaned?

The typical drying time ranges from 4 to 12 hours, during which the carpet will only be slightly damp to the touch. The actual drying time can vary depending on factors such as weather conditions, room temperature, airflow, fiber type, and overall conditions. To expedite the drying process, enhance ventilation and air circulation by opening windows and using fans or air conditioning.

How soon can I walk on my carpet?

We recommend limiting foot traffic until the carpet is completely dry, as moist surfaces are more likely to get stained again. You may walk on your carpet immediately after cleaning without shoes or by using the plastic shoe covers we provide. Please be careful when walking from your damp carpet to any hard surface, as it could be slippery.

Do you move furniture?

Our prices include moving light furniture. However, for liability reasons, we do not move heavy and breakable items such as china cabinets, pianos, bookcases full of books, or any electronic equipment including TVs, stereos, and computers. Additionally, we do not move heavier items such as beds, dressers, and desks. These items will be left in place.

Do you clean apartments?

Yes, we utilize a high-powered portable unit to clean apartments or areas that are inaccessible to our truck mount equipment. Our technician will require access to a water source (such as a water tap) and a disposal area (the recommended disposal area is a bathroom toilet). There is a minimum charge associated with portable services.

You'll find more information on the FAQ page of our website.
