PROJECT COMPLETION – U Mass Memorial Medical Center, Milford, MA Madigan and Maugel De Stefano Architects recently completed a design-build project for U Mass Memorial Medical Center in Milford, MA. The scope included the renovation of a partially occupied 4,900 SF space into a new office-based procedures suite. Updates included new finishes, a more efficient layout, and a new rooftop HVAC unit that allows for a broader range of procedures to be performed in the suite. Madigan’s first move was to bring Maugel De Stefano Architects aboard the project team early on. The team worked hand-in-hand to ensure the new suite met all of U Mass Milford’s needs, while saving costs through several stages of design development and value engineering exercises. While renovations in occupied spaces can be a challenge, our project team maintained constant communication with U Mass Milford to minimize disruption to staff and patients.
