How do I clean my sewer?

To clean your sewer lines, you need help from a professional. As a licensed, bonded, and insured plumbers, Ex-Stink is well-equipped to rod your sewer line. Rodding is a cable run rod that has a special inner drum, enabling it to navigate certain bends and unclog drains. This dynamic rod uses different size cutter blades to clean sewer lines.

Why do I need a sanitary 6" sewer clean out installed?

Most older sanitary sewers were put in with clay pipe. Unfortunately, roots infiltrate these pipes easily, causing waste and paper build-up; in turn, this causes your drains to back up. Access to your main sewer line from the house is 4" (in most cases), and you cannot properly clean a 6" sewer line from a 4" access with cutters. By installing a 6" sewer cleanout, you can maintain proper access for cleaning, which will also reduce future rodding charges. We personally recommend all properties opt to have a sewer cleanout installed, as this makes it easier for any plumbers to access the main sewer line for cleaning and ensure your entire line is cleaned thoroughly.
