How will I know if my septic system needs pumped/cleaned?

When under a service contract or having service done by us, a Suburban Septic service technician will take a sludge sample and if the result is more than 12" of slude build up we reccommend scheduling for a tank cleaning. On average a tank should be cleaned every 2-4 years.

How often should my septic system be serviced?

Most systems we reccommend having a service contract to provide preventitive maintenance and inspect the system twice a year, with one free alarm call visit. Many companies today aren't certified to work on systems they do. If we offer a service contract for your system we assure you are in good hands with a knowledgeable certifed team of technicians.

Do you offer residential and commercial septic inspections?

Yes! We advise choosing us to inspect your home/business septic system rather than a home inspector. We not only do the easy job of septic cleanings, but we have installed thousands of septic systems in NorthEast Ohio truly giving us superior knowledge of how these systems are designed to work.

What should I do if I am getting a sewer smell coming out of my drains?

If a smell arises out of your drains we advise you to check the alarm light on your control panel first. Run water through all traps and in sinks and drains as well as checking venting to make sure there is not a blockage.

Who do i contact first when my system is failing?

You should contact your local health department and have us come out to inspect the system and give you an estimate on a replacement system if needed.
