What Does a Sump Pump Do?

A sump pump is a device that pumps out water from the basement or crawl spaces. It's usually installed in the lowest part of your house, where it can be connected to pipes and drains that lead outside your home. They protect against flooding from bad weather or plumbing emergencies.

Why Does It Take Forever for My Water to Get Hot?

Your water heater may be too small for your household. It's also possible that the water heater isn't properly vented or well insulated. An inspection can determine the exact cause.

Why Does My Kitchen Sink Drain So Slow?

There are two reasons your sink might be draining slow. The first is that you have a clog in the drain pipe, and the second is that there's something stuck in your sink trap. You can usually solve this problem by plunging the drain or using a snake tool to clear out whatever blockage prevents water from flowing freely through the pipes. In addition, routine drain cleanings and occasional hydro-jetting services can help to remove the buildup to keep your drains flowing better.

Why Isn't My Water Clear?

If you're on a well and have hard water, the minerals that come with it can cause it to look cloudy. The same goes for iron and sediment in the water. Also, if you have a new faucet installed in your kitchen, bathroom, or tub/shower area, water may appear cloudy right after installation due to calcium buildup.

What Should I Do If My Toilet Overflows?

Turn the water off at the supply valve if your Toilet has overflowed. Then try using a plunger to clear the blockage. If this doesn't work, call a plumber.
