Many companies will come to your home and immediately tell you an anterior French drain is the answer. Although, when installed properly, an interior, French train can be extremely effective, it's not always the only option, or the best option. This house had water penetration below the window, and where the chimney sticks out from the foundation wall. The exterior hillside was allowing water to run directly at this portion of the home. After some grade level, waterproofing and drainage, a new window well was installed with a lid. The soil was put back over top of the system and graded away from the home. Now the surface water is controlled and kept away from the home, the vulnerable spot at the sill plate of the home has been waterproofed, and the new window well with lid will protect this area as well. What Does a Sump Pump Do?

Why Does It Take Forever for My Water to Get Hot?

Why Does My Kitchen Sink Drain So Slow?

There are two reasons your sink might be draining slow. The first is that you have a clog in the drain pipe, and the second is that there's something stuck in your sink trap. You can usually solve this problem by plunging the drain or using a snake tool to clear out whatever blockage prevents water from flowing freely through the pipes. In addition, routine drain cleanings and occasional hydro-jetting services can help to remove the buildup to keep your drains flowing better.

Why Isn't My Water Clear?

If you're on a well and have hard water, the minerals that come with it can cause it to look cloudy. The same goes for iron and sediment in the water. Also, if you have a new faucet installed in your kitchen, bathroom, or tub/shower area, water may appear cloudy right after installation due to calcium buildup.

What Should I Do If My Toilet Overflows?

Turn the water off at the supply valve if your Toilet has overflowed. Then try using a plunger to clear the blockage. If this doesn't work, call a plumber.
