RESPONSBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:n• Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, etc. using hand tools and power tools.n• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics and written specifications.n• Ability to understand and follow lock out and tag out procedures and OSHA safety standards.n• Perform routine preventive maintenance as assigned or required.n• Connect wires to transformers, circuit breakers, etc.n• Be able to test electrical systems to ensure compatibility and safety of all systems using test equipment.n• Be able to diagnose malfunction systems, etc. using test equipment and hand tools and be able to locate the malfunction and correct it.n• Understanding concepts of controls with knowledge of how to wire and trouble shoot.nnCOMPETENCIES:n• Be able to understand and interpret the National Electrical Code.n• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical.n• Knowledge of OSHA standards.n• Follow directions thoroughly.n• Communicate well with co-workers and clients.n• Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for an extended period of time.n• Work independently with little direction.nnJOB TYPE: n• Full-time.n• Overtime as needed or required.nnEXPERIENCE:n• 5 years or more of experience working as an industrial or commercial electrician.n• Minimum Journeyman Electrical License or in the process of going through an accredited journeyman’s program.nnBENEFITS:n• Health and Dental Insurance, Retirement, and Long Term and Short Term Disability available.n• Vacation and Personal time available after a certain period.
