Is an inspection pass or fail?

No. In the State of Washington there is no pass or fail. Home inspectors do not determine whether or not the home is suitable for you. Pacific Home Inspections does not advise you to buy or not buy the home.

How long does a home inspection take?

Usually a home inspection takes about three hours and is based on findings. The more findings there are the longer it can take. Also, the bigger the home, the longer it can take.

Should I still get an inspection even though I already own my home?

Yes! An inspection can help identify any concerns that are present and help identify any problems that may arise if you were to sell your home in the future.

Can a home inspector make repairs?

If Pacific Home Inspections performed the inspection, they are not allowed to make home repairs, replacements, or upgrades for 365 days after the inspection date. Pacific Home Inspections is allowed to perform home repairs, replacements, and upgrades on homes that were inspected by other inspectors.
