Featured

It’s been over 3 weeks since Hurricane Ian devastated our community. Our team has been helping out whenever and wherever possible. Carson Richardson, Tanner Richardson, and Jason Richardson continue providing support to the barrier islands. Jason is headed to Sanibel with the Richardson Homes ATV, side by side with our friends at Sunset Air and Home Services’ and their ATV. Tanner is helping on Fort Myers Beach with his equipment, and Carson continues to assess our homes under construction on Sanibel and Captiva. We’ve been receiving positive feedback from our clients letting us know their homes withstood the hurricane and expressing their gratefulness. We take pride in the construction of our homes and are thankful our clients are safe.

FAQs

How do we begin the process of designing our new home?

You begin the design process by choosing one of our pre-existing plans or bringing your own as a starting point. We then work with you to figure out what styles work with your personal taste, as well as figure the room sizes needed to make your dream home a reality.

How long will it take and how much will it cost?

This is one of the most frequently asked questions, however it is the most difficult question to answer. Every home is different than the last one. Style, size, construction material, timing of the project, as well as the level of detail, all play a major role in the price per square foot of new home construction. After your new home consultation with Eastmond Enterprises, we will be able to answer this question more efficiently.

How do we work together during the construction phase and what if we make a change in the middle of the project?

Eastmond Enterprises will accommodate any changes that are needed to make your dream home possible. Changes will be handled through our change order process.

What are the things we should consider?

One often overlooked factor is the Florida weather. Due to this, choosing the right time of year to build can have an impact on the timing of your project. The best time of the year to build would be the Fall, Winter or Spring months, since the weather cooperates.

Once we've made our decisions and the house has been started, how often do we need to go to the construction site to check on progress?

You probably will not have to go to it at all if you don't want to; however, you are welcome to do so at any time during the process with an Eastmond Enterprises representative. Once you have made your decisions, it's our job to see that the construction is done correctly. At the outset, we will give you a tentative schedule to give you an idea when specific steps of construction will happen. From that time on, we will be emailing pictures to show you exactly what is happening at the building site of your dream home.

You can find more info on the FAQ page of our website.

Listed for people planning a new house in and around Lehigh Acres, FL, these 24 contractors build on land you own or on lots they control. A card reflects the way that builder describes its own work, its plans and its service area; the ratings beside it come from public reviews.

Area overview: Lehigh Acres, FL

Of the 24 contractors we list here, 4 are in Lehigh Acres itself and 20 come from Fort Myers (12 mi). The contractors on this page are rated from 4.0 to 5.0 across 416 reviews; 1 has 50 or more reviews and 18 are rated 4.5 or higher. When customers rate these contractors on specific qualities, they most often praise professionalism (95%), quality (90%) and responsiveness (83%). The topics that come up most in reviews of the contractors on this page are "price" and "communication". 1 is open around the clock; 5 are open on Saturdays and 4 on Sundays. 8 show a license on their websites and 14 have a BBB rating of A or A+. 13 have ten or more years of experience, the longest 53 years. 1 offers emergency call-outs; 1 offers financing or payment plans; 5 give free estimates and 4 are family- or locally-owned. We have a website on file for all 24 of the contractors on this page; 21 publish a contact page and 20 list a public email. We count these figures across the contractors on this page; distances are straight-line, and hours and prices change, so confirm the details with the contractor before you book.

What should I look for on a builder's site?

Websites are listed for all 24 builders on this page. Look for houses finished years ago rather than renderings, a named list of the plans they build, and a clear statement of which counties they work in. A gallery with no addresses and no plans is a portfolio you cannot check.
