Acorn Cottage Living Room Designed to correlate with the cabinets flanking the fireplace that were present when the client purchased the home, this new bookcase has a custom cherry finish and granite top to match those existing units. The doors on the base unit are sliding to allow easier storage access. LED lights were used in the upper cases while the individual wood shelves required lighting to be installed vertically on both sides of each case. Careful consideration went into the lighting and hardware to create a wall unit that is as functional as it is beautiful.
