How does Agave LD handle billing?

In order to schedule any of our services, it is a mandatory prerequisite to have a credit card securely on file. Our system operates on an automatic withdrawal process, and payments will be systematically processed on the subsequent Monday following the successful completion of each service.

How much is the maintenance service?

Our minimum weekly service rate begins at $45, while our biweekly service is priced at $60. Please note that our pricing structure is tailored to the specific size of your property, which means these rates serve as a starting point. Furthermore, the first service appointment is billed at an hourly rate of $60 per man-hour. This initial visit allows us to thoroughly assess and address any potential cleanup requirements. Following this first appointment, your subsequent services will be charged as per the originally quoted rate.

How often does my irrigation system need to be checked?

Checking an irrigation system at least four times a year is generally a good practice to ensure that it functions optimally and efficiently. We recommend monthly inspections to help identify and address issues promptly, leading to better water conservation, healthier plants, and a longer lifespan for your irrigation equipment.

What is a backflow preventer, why do I need one?

An irrigation backflow preventer is a plumbing device installed on the water supply line of an irrigation system. Its primary function is to prevent contaminated water from flowing back into the clean, potable water supply. It does this by allowing water to flow in one direction only, from the potable water supply to the irrigation system, and preventing any backflow or reverse flow.

What is included in an irrigation system inspection?

Our one-time inspection includes the conditions of the controller, rain/freeze sensor valve, irrigation heads, coverage, as well as programming the controller to the current season. Seasonal programming will consist of setting the controller based on the condition of the property and climate conditions at the time of inspection. We are not liable for ongoing seasonal programming following this service. We will program the controller to city watering restrictions if applicable unless instructed otherwise.
