Today’s job of the day comes from Mc Kormick Ranch in Scottsdale. Barbara had a leak on east side of her home in planter. On arrival, I met with Barbara and she showed me the location of the timer in front yard and then we proceeded to the backyard where the leak was located and she showed me where. It was a significant leak free flowing and showering the side of the house and park, on opposite side of the wall every time the system would run. I excavated the area and found a plastic corrugated drip tube which had broken. I removed the plastic pipe and replaced everything using Schedule 40 PVC fittings and pipe the way it should have been done in the first place. Once everything was plumbed back together, I tested the zone and everything operates properly again. Lastly, I checked and adjusted her watering schedule for the extreme heat this summer.
