Which plants are suitable for a living wall?
For indoor installations, we select from a variety of tropical foliage with varying light and water requirements. Exterior living walls call for perennials and hardy species, native to the region.
Can a green roof be installed on all types of roofing material?
Yes if the roof is waterproofed. If not, we can work with your contractors to prep the steps needed for our green roof. We can install on flat and sloped roofs.
Can a green roof withstand frost?
Yes! A green roof with sedums is especially hardy. In the winter, Sedums they will turn a reddish hue. Vegetation roofs with grasses, herbs and host plants will be dormant in the winter months, but will come into full bloom again in the spring.
