FAQs

Are you properly licensed to do landscaping work in Maryland?

Yes, we are fully licensed. We hold all the required and necessary licenses for a landscaping company operating in Maryland, including from the Maryland Department of Agriculture, Maryland Home Improvement Commission and the American Society of Landscape Architects. We are also certified through the National Association of Landscape Professionals.

Who will do the work on my property?

We employ masons, carpenters, and crews for planting and hardscape work. All of that work is done by eos employees. Work done by some specialty trades that require licenses, such as electricians and plumbers, may be subcontracted to businesses we've worked with before and know can provide services at the level our clients expect. All of our personnel are well-trained and supervised while on-site. You'll easily recognize them - all of our staff wear a company uniform.

How quickly can you schedule my job and/or get it done?

We always strive to meet deadlines once they've been agreed upon. However, scheduling and completion timeframes depend on many factors, such as: the time of year (for example, some work cannot be done in winter), weather events (such as hurricanes, ice storms and excessive heat), and our current backlog of work. Work is scheduled based on when the contract is signed and deposit received. We cannot schedule any work until both of those are completed.

Can someone meet with me on the weekend?

Each of our team members controls their own schedule. Generally, we work Monday through Friday but each designer can make their own decision about meeting clients on the weekend. Please talk with your designer to see if that would be possible. Our landscape and hardscape crews generally work during the week (Monday through Friday), depending on weather conditions.

Is there a minimum budget or job size to work with you?

Generally, there's no minimum for projects in our normal service area. If you're outside our typical work area, please give us a call to discuss the details of your project.
