Rain, rain, go away! nnWhile we can't work, I figured I'd share a success story of a drainage project we have done in the past. nnThis property wasn't quite graded correctly after the house was built and caused water to sit in the flowerbeds and lawn, killing plants and grass. Water would sit for days in these areas and even on the sidewalk. nnWe used our laser level to determine the grade of the land and came up with a drainage plan to accommodate the slopes. We connected all of the gutter downspouts to pipes that went underground out to the ditch and strategically placed drains in low areas to collect surface water. In problem areas where water was known to sit, we used a drain pipe with holes in it to let the water seep into the pipe and flow out to the ditch. We use the laser level to install the pipe to make sure it has the proper slope to allow gravity to do the water and move the water out to the ditch.nnThere's more to drainage then just digging a trench and laying pipe. A proper drainage plan including the slope of the land and slope of the installed pipe must be done to insure a functioning system for years to come. nnThis is just one of the many drainage projects we have done over the years and we have yet to have a complaint. nnCheck out Scott's google review he was so kind to leave us.
