Is there a deposit to start my landscaping installation project?

Depending on the timeframe, a deposit of typically $2,500 is required to secure a spot on our schedule. Your contract will outline any further deposit requirements and the draw schedule.

Do you handle getting permits, and what is the timeline?

Depending on the scope of work, either you or The Yard Stylist will handle the submission for required East Valley permits in your city. Additional fees for permitting and processing will apply.

What is the timeline to get into the construction phase?

Once you sign your contract and make your initial deposit, The Yard Stylist will add you to our construction schedule. We are typically scheduling out 2 to 4 weeks at any given time.

Where and when should I choose the materials to be installed?

Following the receipt of your signed contract and deposit, we will arrange a meeting with Jamie and/or Julie at our vendors. During this appointment, you will have the opportunity to explore a wide selection of samples and choose materials such as pavers, artificial grass, trees, shrubs, and more.

How long does the construction and installation phase take?

The duration will vary depending on the scope of work involved in the installation. New yard installations take approximately 1 to 2 weeks from start to finish. However, remodel installations require a longer timeframe because of the demolition of existing landscaping and can range from 2 to 4 weeks for completion.

Throughout the property, we took cues from modern Japanese architecture. How that translates into the design is clean monolithic shapes the use of horizontal slatted steel and plant life that feels just as is at home in a Zen garden as it does in Phoenix. The front of the property is adorned with simple plantings and larger size riprap. As we move to the second level, we see the retention basins with live grass and fruit trees that lead to the portico with the water feature that cascades from the house detail. Past the second gate we pick up with the bamboo hedge and plantings that support the overall look. Lights add drama to the space and the material choices at a touch of industrial.
