How will I be loaded?

We use a S590 Bobcat Skid Loader to load all of our materials. We have a 1 yard bucket and a 3/4 yard bucket as well as pallet forks. From a car and trailer, pickup truck, to dump truck we can load almost everything. Unfortunately, we are unable to load trucks with toppers, caps, and enclosed trailers. When purchasing material that is sold by weight, we will ask you to scale in first and then scale after you are loaded.

How do I weigh my vehicle on the scale?

The scale is located directly in front of our office and clearly marked with a sign. Make sure that your truck/vehicle is completely on the scale (both front and rear axels). If you are transporting your bulk landscape material on a trailer, then the rear axel and entire trailer must be on the scale for an accurate weight. We will make sure that your vehicle is positioned correctly on the scale. Once we have read your weight in the office, we will wave you through to either be loaded or settle up in the office.

Do I need to be home for the delivery?

No, you do not have to be home for the delivery. As long as you give clear delivery instructions when you schedule the delivery we can deliver at anytime. We usually ask that you mark the area that you want the material dumped at with a tarp or bucket.

Where can i have the material dumped?

The dumping location must be on a solid, flat, even surface. We do not drive over your yard to dump. Any dumping location that our delivery driver deems unsafe will be cancelled. We are not liable for any damages caused by delivery or dumping of materials.

How much does 1 yard of mulch weigh?

One cubic yard of mulch weighs approximately 600 pounds. But, please be advised that this can greatly vary depending on the type of mulch as well as how wet the mulch is (due to recent rain, etc.).
