Salado USA is looking for hard-working and motivated people to join our Maintenance Team. nnThe Electrical Technician ensures all equipment is running smoothly through quick in-depth troubleshooting and repair of all types of manufacturing equipment. No day is the same -- your expertise may be called on to fix an urgent issue or you may implement new ideas and modify equipment to improve efficiency. Working as a team with other technicians, machine operators, supervisors, and department managers, the Electrical Technician will collaborate to resolve all electrical issues.nnWhat you would be doing as a Maintenance Electrical Technician:n• Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical drawings, and testing equipmentn• Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment at the facilityn• Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipmentn• Maintain industrial control systemsn• Work independently and with other team members to complete repairs in a safe and timely mannern• Create and report repairs throughout shift. Complete required work order paperwork, document parts and material usagen• Understand and follow plant safety rules including safe lifting practices and safe machine operation. Personal Protective Equipment is to be used where requiredn• End each shift knowing you made a differencennProfile of our Maintenance Technicians:nnMinimum requirements:n• 2 years of work experience in an industrial electrical environment or in a maintenance-related fieldn• Field experience with machine PLCs, and programming. n• Field experience with three-phase power.n• Field experience with Variable frequency drive (VFD), servo drives, and servo motorn• Ability to troubleshoot and perform electrical repairs in a safe, productive, efficient, and cost-effective mannern• High school diploma or GEDn• Valid driver's license, and reliable means of transportation. n• Effective communication of issues and solutions to cross-functional team membersn• Ability to read and interpret schematics: electrical, hydraulic, and pneumaticn• Proficient skills with precision measuring equipment, such as calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges, and depth gaugesn• Willingness to be a technical leader and trainer within a specific area of plant or machine centern• Demonstrated regular and predictable attendancennPreferred requirements:n• Industrial manufacturing, manufacturing automation or other similar manufacturing-related specializationn• Experience in high-speed manufacturing, industryn• Experience with the following technologies:n• HVAC and/or air compressorsn• Experience working with electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics for troubleshootingn• Experience in Welding and Fabrication.
