Aeroscape is currently seeking an experienced Commercial Landscape Estimator to join our team.nIdeal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in landscape commercial estimating with a proven ability to win work; experience with PlanSwift or similar software for take-offs, submittal process, closeouts, plans, labor costing, material pricing and sourcing.nDutiesn• Prepares estimates for potential projects, using hard-bid, design-build, and conceptual estimating. n• Reads and understands contract documents (plans, specifications & addenda). n• Performs quantity take-offs, organizes, and prices information. n• Solicits bids and quotes from subcontractors and suppliers. n• Communicates with subs and suppliers to clarify pricing information. n• Prepares estimate formats in such areas as general conditions, general bidding, quantity takeoffs and bid analysis. n• Prepares bid proposal for submittal. n• Prepares outline schedules for proposed projects. n• Assists staff members with various special projects related to estimating. nQualificationsn• Minimum three years’ experience in estimating commercial construction projects, demonstrating competence in hard-bid, design-build, and conceptual estimating. n• Excellent working knowledge of Plan Swift or similar software, On-Screen Takeoff, Microsoft Office, intermediate experience with spreadsheets.n• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and coordinate with team members. n• High integrity maintains standards of ethics, conduct, and organizational policies in job-related activities. n• Effective written, verbal and presentation skills.n• General knowledge of purchasing policies, processes, and procedures.n• Excellent knowledge of construction practices, methods, and trends.
