FAQs
Can I mow directly after my lawn service?
If we apply any type of weed control, please wait 24 hours to mow your lawn to maximize complete efficiency. When only granular products are applied to your lawn, there are no mowing or pet restrictions after this type of service. Our technicians will communicate with you, about any other types of restrictions that are necessary.
When is it safe for my children/pets to return to our lawn?
Our products will take additional time to dry completely in the early spring and fall due to the cooler temperatures. During the warmer summer months, our products will dry faster. Depending on the time of year, we ask that you stay off your lawn for 1 to 2 hours once your service is completed. After waiting this time, it will be safe for your children and pets to return to your lawn.
Do pest control treatments occur inside or outside of my home?
The first time we visit your home, we ask you to gain access to the inside of your property. Our goal is to inspect interior areas and, with your approval, apply control materials where needed. Most materials are used for the exterior of your property, preventing pests from moving to the inside. After your initial visit, we only treat the interior of your home during the winter visit.
What can I do to improve the health of my lawn?
Our lawn programs provide your yard with weed control and fertilization; however, various lawn issues such as Grubs, Insects, and lawn disease may arise throughout the year. If any of these issues occur, we have solutions to help your lawn overcome these issues and thrive. We recommend that you consider annual seeding and aeration for the healthiest lawn. We use the highest quality cool season grass seed blends that perform the best in our specific climate. Aeration allows your soil to expand and better absorb water and nutrients, as well as our high-quality seed.
How often should I water my lawn?
It is important to ensure that your grass is getting enough water; however, do not over-water. Our recommendation is two to three deep watering sessions per week. During periods of drought, you should increase your watering at a rate of about one inch per week. This increased amount of watering will help with reducing browning in your lawn.
