Do you provide ongoing monitoring of radon levels after the mitigation process is complete?

We provide a 2 day post mitigation test to ensure the system is working and the desired results are met. The EPA does recommend an annual test be done.

What is asbestos and why is it dangerous?

Asbestos is a group of fibrous minerals used to strengthen and fireproof materials. Inhaled asbestos fibers become trapped in the body. The fibers cause diseases such as mesothelioma, lung cancer and asbestosis. More than 50 other countries have banned the use of asbestos.

Do you provide a written report after the asbestos abatement process is complete?

Before and after. We provide a sampling report if we test it. We provide an Abatement proposal that details how we will remove it and the cost. At the end we provide air clearance reports.

Are there any regulations or laws regarding the removal of asbestos?

Yes, the EPA. There are also different rules and guidelines for different categories of asbestos. There are Different protocols for schools vs residential and indoor vs outdoor. It is a very complicated process and it is easy to put yourself at risk if trying to do it yourself so always use someone certified that can provide current certifications.
