Stucco & Window Water Leak Repair in Folsom. There was water entering the home around these two, south facing windows when there was wind-driven rain. Home PRO removed the stucco from around the windows and noticed the paper was compromised at the bottom of the wall adjacent to the chimney wall. We decided to remove the stucco at the bottom of that wall to check the condition of the building paper. Upon removal. we found that the paper was compromised and it would have leaked if we did not add that extra work. We then installed a new weep screed, 6" flashing around the windows and the plug below the window, 2 layers of building paper, foam insulation board and then the one-coat stucco system. The owners elected to prime and paint the stucco themselves. You can see from the pictures that we matched the texture perfectly. After the new stucco is primed and painted, the repair will not even be noticeable. Home PRO's experienced employees are experts at matching any type of stucco texture.
