The anodes act as a protection for your running gear (props, shafts, trims tabs) by oxidizing more quickly than the metal it is protecting. That is why it is crucial to always have proper anodes installed on your vessel! With our before & after videos provided with each of our hull cleanings, we can properly monitor the current conditions of your anodes. As a rule of thumb, once we see the anode has 50% left, we will schedule to change that specific anode on your next cleaning.
