Expert Realtors in Bryan, TX

I had a question this morning about the lawsuit settlement and using a REALTOR vs selling to an iBuyer so I am going to be lazy and copy/paste my answer because most of you are hearing about it. Please reach out to me as an old friend did this morning if you have any questions about what the news is reporting (geography is irrelevant on this so ask even if you are not in Texas). The national news media is generalizing to the point of inaccuracy and misleading consumers on what this will mean for the industry and for consumers.nn…The lawsuit and settlement are very misreported on. They are going to end up hurting the general homeowner. The short version is that nobody is going to win when Buyers are unrepresented. Prices will get inflated and predatory practices will go unchecked. Realtors will have no reason to pay to belong to a Multiple Listing Service so there will not be data easily available (the reason Zillow and all of the other websites can provide information on homes for sale is because as Realtors we pay to belong to mls and to enter our data). Cash offers are only good for people in a bind who need to get out quick. Those companies are already taking advantage of lack of Buyer representation and making a big profit doing so. Find a good Realtor and trust them is my advice. I can’t speak for Phoenix or Arizona, but I can say that I am not unique in that I literally lose sleep worrying over what is best for my clients. I work on Christmas and vacations when I need to for my clients (and probably even when I don’t). I fight fights they never know about so they don’t have to worry and at the end of the day, their best interest is always looked out for. A good Realtor is worth 10x what they get paid.
