Although not a pre-requisite for initial hire, a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) will be required, some CDL training maybe available through Champion. Must provide a resume and work history with references. nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:n• Be on time and presentable.n• Keep work area neat and orderly.n• Perform services on class 8 trucks (Mack, Kenworth, Peterbilt.)n• Trouble shoot and repair, electrical systems, brake systems, and hydraulic systems.n• Paperwork: Complete and submit inspection forms, parts tags, and maintenance forms. Keep an accurate timecard of time worked.n• Work variable schedule, roughly 10:00AM to 7:00PM Monday through Friday, some Saturdays as necessary.nPhysical Demands:n• Must be able to meet DOT requirements for hearing and vision.n• Must be able to verbally communicate to others.n• Good manual dexterity to climb on and around equipment/trucks.n• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds to overhead position.n• Must be able to push and pull up to 50 pounds.n• Must be drug and alcohol free.n• Neat, Clean, and Professional.
