FAQs

If the scope of the project changes during construction, how do you determine the additional fees?

We provide you with an estimate of the cost of the change. This cost is determined by estimating actual costs of the materials, labor, and any subcontractors, and adding the same percentages for the architectural and construction fees as was used on the base contract.

How long will it take to design and build my home/building?

This is a hard question to lock down. There are many variables. My crews and I work hard to keep a project on schedule but if a homeowner needs additional time in making selections, that can extend the finish time, our Oklahoma weather can be a factor as well. But typically a 3000 sq ft house will take 8-9 months to complete.

Do you have experience building a home like the one I am proposing?

When we are discussing your project, I like to walk you through another similar project to find out what matters most to you or maybe the amenities that you would rather not have.

Can you recommend an architect?

I work with several different architects that specialize in styles of their own. That way we have access to an architect that can design your special plan or make changes to your existing plan that fit best with your anticipated style.
