The contractors who are attacking you online simply do not want to leave any money on the table. By giving you an estimate, they risk under bidding the job for less than what we paid you. They are in the business of taking over the claim and keeping all of the insurance money. In fact, we actually prefer that you demand estimates and get something for your money versus handing everything over to a middleman. The middleman companies are taking all of the insurance money including your deductible and usually installing cheaper products to keep more profit for themselves.
