Best type of Glass for Showers Installing Shower glass is a precision operation. It starts with measuring after your tile is installed. Then think about handles, hardware types, finishes and locations. Adding accessories like a hook to hang a towel is a great idea. All the holes are done in the glass manufacturers facility. That’s why it’s important to discuss hardware types and locations before the glass is ordered. Today they use a high power water jet to cut and make holes. What type of glass do you use for showers? There are two types clear and Starphire both are tempered . Tempered glass if broken will breakup into very small pcs. Starphire Glass is clearer and more expensive than clear glass which has a green tint. The clearer glass will help make your room look larger. It takes 2 or 3 days to complete due to silicone joints need to completely cure before the rest of the hardware can be installed. FAQs

Do you sell to homeowners?

The short answer is no. We are a wholesale operation. We do not make or install the cabinetry. With that being said, we can get the design process started, and once you choose a contractor we can get them caught up!

How will I know when my cabinetry will arrive?

Once your order is in production, our customer service department will update the purchaser of when the order is expected to arrive. When your order is scheduled for delivery, the delivery carrier will call the point of contact (typically the contractor) to confirm the delivery date and window of delivery. If you are looking for updates regarding your order, please contact your contractor first. We relay all information to them as we get it.

How long until they come back to install them?

The normal lead time is approximately 2 weeks. Once we get the drawing of your template, we will be able to give you a tentative installation date, so you can plan accordingly.
