Can you explain your refacing process?

Our refacing process begins with an in-depth assessment of your existing cabinets. Following this, we remove the old doors and drawer fronts, strip off the old laminate coating, and then reface them with a new, high-quality rigid thermofoil using a vacuum press machine. The refaced doors and drawer fronts are then reattached to the cabinet boxes, giving your kitchen an entirely fresh and updated look. This process offers an affordable and effective alternative to a complete kitchen overhaul.

Can I choose a different style or color during the refacing process?

Absolutely! Refacing gives you the flexibility to completely alter the style and color of your cabinets. We provide a broad selection of styles and colors, ensuring your newly refaced kitchen aligns with your vision.

What is cabinet refacing?

Cabinet refacing is the process of replacing the cabinet doors and drawer fronts and applying a new 3D laminate material over the existing surface of the body of the cabinets.

Is there any disruption to my kitchen use during the refacing process?

While there is some necessary disruption during the refacing process, we aim to keep it minimal. You'll still have access to your kitchen appliances for the majority of the project.

What's the difference between laminate and thermofoil?

Both are popular materials for cabinet refacing. Thermofoil is a type of vinyl and is applied to MDF under both heat and pressure. Laminate is a synthetic material made of layered kraft paper and resin. Both offer a variety of color and design choices, but thermofoil typically allows for more complex designs.
