Painting your cabinets can be much less convenient and possibly riskier than refacing your cabinets. It can be cumbersome to execute all aspects of a proper paint job, including surface preparation, without a team of professionals. Note that newer, laminate-front cabinets cannot be pained or sanded and are not good candidates to be repainted.
