Some updated pics on progress at the 'Barbourville' job. nnThe house had some basement additions done, and the owners had insulated and waterproofed the #foundation . To keep from having any drainage issues in the future, (north side, where the snow stays longest) the owner wanted to fill the void with washed 3/4 gravel. There's sleeved perf drain at the bottom of the foundation, and we installed a primary drain near the top. Then, backfilled 66 tons of 3/4 in the void. Future plan is to have a deck or patio in that space. You could open a fire hydrant next to this house, and I doubt it would ever reach the foundation. nnThe driveway took a beating with all the gravel movement up the hill, but it's slicked off and smooth enough for a new #corvette to drive it if you so desired. nn Future updates on the full driveway finish once I get the last of the crushed concrete delivered and graded.nn#colorado #mountains #fall #construction #dirtwork #excavation #drainage #bobcat #skidsteer #gettinggoodstuffdone...
