Peters Excavating, Inc. is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator! LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY - NON UNION SHOPnnWe are a small, Sebastopol-based General Engineering Contractor specializing in underground utilities, site work and paving for single-family residential homes, subdivisions and commercial buildings.nnQualified candidate must have at least 3 years recent heavy equipment operating experience, be able to safely demonstrate the proper skill and knowledge of operating heavy equipment and have a thorough understanding of the construction trade. Health benefits after 3 months and 401k benefits with employer matching after one year of full-time work.nnResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:nn1. Operating front end loadersnMotor graders, excavators, bulldozersnBackhoes, scrapers, rollers, and compactorsn2. Thoroughly & correctly fill out a daily report/timecard to be handed in each dayn3.Maintain (oil, gas, and grease), the equipment used on the job siten4. Read and execute plans on the jobsiten5.
