Professional Handyman Services in Indio, CA

This is a great question and that answer unfortunately is not that simple. We use either two ways of services. The first way is hourly. We charge $60/hour with a minimum of 2 hours ($120). Let me explain what that means. If we come to your house to do a project and it only takes us 1 hour to do the job, we will still require the 2 hours of payment for your project. Keep in mind, the $60 normally will include myself and my assistant. You get 2 people for the price of one, and normally things go smoother with my assistant around. The 2nd way we charge will be by the job itself. This sometimes comes in handy when you have a lot of things on your list or lots of tedious jobs that would better suite the bulk price. We always try to give you the best price we possibly can, always thinking of how to save you money.

We normally give you a 2 hour window of when our arrival will happen. This is to ensure if we have any unforseen things come up, we will still be able to get to your appointment.

We service the cities of La Quinta, Palm Desert, Indio, Indian Wells, Rancho Mirage, Thermal and Mecca. If you are located in any other cities, to travel to you may require an extra travel fee to help pay for the price of gas.

Any handyman in the state of california is not required to have a license to do projects for someone. Since a handyman is a jack of all trades and knows many different areas of the services to people business the state of California has not yet made a test to license a handyman. We also do not employ any employees so insurance is not something we have either. In order to keep our cusomers happy with our prices, if we obtained a license & insurance, we would have to charge a lot more in pricing and we would then be unable to appeal to our customers with our affordable rates and prices.

Bryan (the handyman) owns Handyman Hensley and he will sometimes bring his assistant (Carene) along to assist with jobs, but thats it. If another person is brought into the project it would be because of their expertise in a certain area of a job and under those circumstances, the customer would be notified and given the reasons why outside help is needed
