We are seeking a seasoned lead carpenter strong work ethic in the Montgomery County, Northern VA and DC area.nnCompensation $25-$30 per hour depending on experience with room for growth within the companynThis position requires someone who:n• Has a positive mental attitude and can-do attituden• Has 5 years of remodeling and carpentry experiencen• Is honest, dependable, articulate, and self-motivatedn• Enjoys challenging projectsn• Has the ability to manage multiple tasksn• Pays attention to detailn• Delivers top quality workn• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.n• Is excited about the remodeling industry and has a passion for delivering excellence.nPosition duties will include but not limited to:n• Responsible for ensuring conformance of the work with project plans and understanding for managing scopes of workn• Ensure overall project quality control for every aspect of the projectn• Subcontractor and supplier coordinationn• All aspects of project site safety.n• Develop project schedule and update on a regular basis with realistic timetable for future work itemsn• Plan for and organize project staff according to project requirements, including assigning proper personnel to specific projects or components of projectsn• Ensure and communicate clear roles and responsibilities to entire project teamn• Have the technical skill top professionally complete items such as; kitchen cabinet install, trim, door installation, window installation, and rough framingn• Manage material flow to the job, manage the schedule to finish on time, and manage the budget to make a net profit for the company. n• Work directly with the client to facilitate a smooth job including change orders, minor selections, and the disruption to everyday life.
