This custom home was insulated with spray foam, we were able to blower door test it pre-drywall and do a full inspection and punch out. The home started at 2.57 air changes but we managed to decrease that down to 1.33 air changes after filling many missed areas of foam spray. To all my contractors and home builders out there, we HIGHLY recommend if you have a spray foam insulated home that you pre test the house before drywall is installed!! You would be amazed the size of holes we find even on well insulated jobs. We typically use up to 2 boxes of spray foam cans doing punch out, and we can greatly reduce air change scores with our method.
