What temperature does it need to be to paint outside?

Depending on the product, the substrate being painted needs to be a minimum of 35-50 degrees for the entire drying process. Our painting contractors will make sure your substrate will be able to fully dry before we begin painting.

When painting a room, what areas should I paint first?

The ceiling should be painted first. The walls should be painted next, and the last thing to be painted is the trim. How do I remove wallpaper from my walls?

Sometimes wallpaper can just be peeled right off. More commonly, though, a wallpaper stripper solution is needed. Our painting contractors will use a scoring tool over the paper so the solution can penetrate and soften the paste. We then apply the solution and wait 15-20 minutes. After that, we apply more solution before beginning to scrape the paper off the walls with a wallpaper shaver.

Can I paint my exterior vinyl siding?

Yes, the vinyl needs to be cleaned first and then most exterior paints will adhere to the vinyl without any issues. The one thing to be cautious of is the color you choose. You need to use a color that has been deemed vinyl-safe. If not, the color could absorb too much heat from the sun and cause the vinyl to warp and buckle.
