Asheville Drainage is hiring for full time workers in Asheville! We are looking for full time (5 days a week).nnThis job will begin asap, and as with most landscaping jobs, the work is weather dependent. We typically work straight through the winter and only not work during snow/rain events.nnWe are a small crew, and do a wide variety of types of jobs, for example, residential and commercial drainage installations, install rainwater harvesting systems for potable and irrigation, small grading jobs, plumbing, irrigation, drainage systems, small patios and hardscaping, some concrete work and tapping springs.nnThe ideal candidate can lift 80lbs, be able to work all day with a shovel, be able to learn fast and be crafty and good with your hands. You should be a quick learner and be able to repeat complex tasks after seeing them only a few times. Previous landscaping and/or construction experience is required Pay starts at $22/hour. You must have your own transportation to get to our lot or to jobs.nnFor the Foreman's Assistant position, we require a valid drivers license, and someone who can learn our installation techniques and then work independently in order to lead small jobs and diagnose and make repairs to existing jobs.nnTo be clear, this job has a lot of physical labor involved.nnMost of our jobs are in Asheville or North Buncombe county, occasionally we have jobs in Haywood, McDowell, and Madison County.nnWe maintain a positive, collaborative work environment. nnThere will be a lot of digging, plumbing, irrigation, tapping springs, installing cisterns, and planting fruit and nut trees.nnSe habla Espanol.
