Trusted Mold Inspections & Environmental Testing in Centennial, CO

During a recent torrential summer storm in Aspen, CO, the Aspen School District received a substantial amount of water damage which entered the building, affecting three classrooms, the woodshop, library and hallway. Haselden Construction Superintendent, David Hanen, was quick to call HRS to mitigate the damage. The school had carpet, VCT tiles and an intricate wood floor within the wood shop that all needed to be remedied. Along with the rain, red clay seeped in and stained the carpet which HRS extracted and cleaned. Although the wood shop floor was seemingly in disrepair given how much water was in each 3x4" piece of wood, HRS learned the history and nature of how the flooring came to be and meticulously removed and dried each piece, to return / restore it to it's original state. The wood shop floor had been designed by a teacher who has been with the district for 60 years and therefore, HRS took the time to ensure the history lives on. During the cleanup process, HRS also uncovered some mold from a preexisting condition. Drywall and baseboards were removed to treat the mold issue, allowing for the Haselden team to reenter the building(s) and continue on the renovations after our cleanup was complete.
