How do I know if my pop up head/collar is broken?

You will see in the photo the white part(pop up head) is slightly broken on the bottom, and the cream part(part of the collar) is broken half way through. Pop up heads and collars can easily break during demo just from the vibrations of the jack hammers(typically if they are original to the pool and never been replaced).

How do I know if my pop up head needs replaced?

When you pull the pop up head out it may look like this or become broken simply by removing them(typically if they are original to the pool and have never been replaced).

I see this black bag/box in my yard, what is it?

During Interior the crew needs to get rid of the excess slurry and they do so by placing into a makeshift bag/box like this, they tape it closed and leave it on your property for 1-3 days to allow it to fully dry so it will be easier to remove from the property.

I see orange/brown spots in my pool, what are they?

These orange/brown spots are rust stains. They can be caused by metals coming into contact with the interior surface or caused by rebar trying to come through the interior surface from underneath.

My interior surface looks like it has scratch marks in it, what is it?

In this photo you see what appear to be scratch marks on the surface, this can be caused by a chemical imbalance or when copper makes its way into the pool.
