FAQs

When new windows are installed, will you add trim?

There are several types of approved installation techniques, in most cases windows are fin installed. When we visit your home we will give you our recommendation and discuss your preference.

What if I want to have a window cut in?

We can add a window, remove or change sizes. Please email or fax special requests with as much information as possible, including drawings when available.

What does an installation from UMEASUREIT.COM include?

Our complete installation includes removal of your old windows and removal of all debris. We either use a fin installation or collapse frames, depending on your preference and what is appropriate for your home. Labor and material are included for Milgard factory approved installations. Cosmetic upgrades are available for interior and exterior trims. We are willing to add trim in situations where it is required but we will not patch paint or paint new wood.

Are your installation crews licensed and bonded?

All of our installers are contractors and are licensed and bonded for your protection. Please be assured that your safety is of our utmost concern and we would not send questionable installers into your home.
