Client's Review: "We had a unique idea for our basement that involved adding an outside door, moving a closet, and rebuilding a staircase. We also wanted to finish out our basement with a new bedroom, bathroom, rec room, and storage. From the very beginning of the design process through Construction, we got excellent information about what it would take. We decided to take a phased approach for budget reasons and completed Phase 1 in the fall of 2020. Any renovation project will most likely take longer and cost more than you expect, but what I appreciated most about Renovate was that they were excellent communicators. I felt like we always knew what was happening and what to expect, and when we were surprised, everything was explained in detail. For example, they found asbestos in some floor tiles we wanted to remove, and Derek took us aside to explain everything that would need to happen to get rid of it. At another point, because it was covid times, the company had a virus scare, and I got a call from Amanda outlining the safety precautions they were going to take.
