Noticing water damage? While most assume it's a roof leak, the culprit might be attic condensation, a less costly issue to address than a roof replacement. Learn about the causes of water condensation during extremely cold weather and how it can lead to mold and poor air quality. If you can't identify external roof damage or locate a leak, your water damage is likely from condensation, requiring immediate inspection. Follow our blog for steps to address water condensation, including opening all air vents, utilizing bathroom and kitchen exhaust fans, reducing humidifier use, inspecting attic insulation, and checking your ventilation system. These proactive measures can not only solve condensation problems but also improve air quality and energy efficiency. If you need help identifying the source of water damage, contact Hedrick Construction for a professional inspection and assistance with insulation, ventilation, or roof repair.
