How often should I have my HVAC system serviced?
All HVAC equipment needs to be cleaned and inspected at least once per/year. However, it is recommended that you have your heating system checked in the Fall and your air conditioning system checked in the Spring.
Is my system forced hot air or forced hot water?
If your system is forced hot air, it will blow heat out of vents in the form of hot air. If your system is forced hot water (hydronic heating), it will typically radiate heat through baseboards or radiators. A forced hot water heating system is called a boiler. There are several types of forced hot air heating systems, including furnaces (gas or oil), heat pumps and hydro air systems.
Do you install Wi-Fi Thermostats?

Wi-Fi thermostats allow you to control your thermostat from your smartphone, tablet, computer or other device and are a convenient way to monitor your home off-site to ensure comfort, energy savings and peace of mind. How long should my heating system last?
Forced hot air heating systems have an average lifespan of 15-25 years, depending on use and maintenance. Forced hot water heating systems having an average lifespan of 20-30 years, depending on use and maintenance.
